Lipa Noi, Samui

Baan Kilee sits right on the white sands of the most beautiful beach on the island, Lipa Noi. The gateway to Angthong National Marine Park, Lipa Noi beach looks out to the famous Five islands as well as the stunning mountainous backdrop of Samui’s interior. Only 30 minutes from the airport and the vibrant Chaweng, the stunning villa opens the beach up to all sorts of activities, such as water sports, sailing, beach volleyball or simply exploring the rock pools – a safe and fun activity for children whilst overlooking stunning views of the Gulf of Siam. For those up for a bit of an adventure, head off the beaten track to visit beautiful waterfalls, or a good 18-hole swing of golf at Santiburi’s championship course, or explorative bike/hike through local villages and hillside trails. Although the sea is swimmable all year round, summer offers especially low tides with the reef visible for up to 100m. There are also a number of fantastic restaurants and 5 star resorts within the area, should you fancy dining out.

Getting There

There are direct flights from Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Phuket. Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, JAL and Korean Air fly direct to Bangkok or Hong Kong from the UK, Japan, Korea and Canada for onward connection to Samui Airport via Bangkok Airways.

For those hiring a rental car, we suggest drop off be arranged at the villa, or else to follow the transfer van with your luggage.  Your villa manager can arrange a car for you on arrival. It is extremely important to arrange a transfer for your day of arrival so our local drivers can get you to the villa easily. Alternatively, driving between Phuket and Koh Samui by car will take you through some of Thailand’s most wonderful views on the way.

You will depart from Bangkok’s Hualamphong Train Station and arrive at Surat Thani Station. Once you arrive, there will be a shuttle bus service (which you can book in advance along with the train ticket) that will take you to the coast and the Don Sak Pier. From the pier, you may take either the ferry or the high-speed catamaran to take you straight to Koh Samui. The ferry trip takes 90 minutes, and the high-speed catamaran is around 45 minutes.

To take it up a notch, opt in for a private jet charter directly to Samui Airport from your departure point.
